Advancing Organic Agriculture through Science-Based Results: Lessons from Iowa State University

Dr. Kathleen Delate is an Associate Professor in the Department of Horticulture at Iowa State University. As an Extension Organic Horticulturalist, she holds the first faculty position in the U.S. to be designated specifically for organic agriculture.

On 28 October 2009, she will be speaking in OAGR*2050 Gateway to Organic Agriculture at 8:30-9:20AM in 116 Crop Science (all are welcome), as well as giving a public presentation from 1:30-2:20PM in 1307 Thornborough on her Long-Term Agroecological Research program which has compared performance of organic and conventional field crops since 1998.
